About the Chef:
Christopher Paquet

Chris earned his culinary degree from Schoolcraft College in Livonia, MI and followed this amazing culinary education with valuable experience in several highly acclaimed kitchens around the Metro-Detroit area. Chris has combined his family inspired love of cooking with knowledge gained from some of the best chefs in the world.

 

He has extensive experience crafting beautiful  plate ups at the Detroit Athletic Club while cultivating a deep appreciation for fermentation and sustainability under Chef Ken Miller of Toasted Oak. Even more valuable learning came from his time as a Sous Chef to CMC Shawn Loving which taught him how to create bold and well-balanced menus while increasing ingredient knowledge. Now Chris's food speaks for itself! 

 

Craving a different path for his culinary journey than the traditional hot line kitchen, Chris is seeking to develop Gnomerie Kitchen into a collective idea which will ultimately help garner more talented chefs to share their passion and skills within the small, intimate setting at Gnomerie Kitchen while sharing his delicious creations with his guests.
